About

Hazel Mellars – Chiropractor

Hazel grew up on a working dairy farm in Northumberland and has always loved the outdoors. Her passion is horse riding and one too many falls took her to see a Chiropractor where she experienced first hand the amazing difference treatment could make on her body. She decided to study Chiropractic and graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in 2017 with a distinction. She also did a postgraduate diploma to treat animals with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic (IAVC).

Hazel settled in Dorset and has worked in Blandford for the past seven years. She has treated patients from all walks of life and particularly enjoys giving back to the rural community. She believes that Chiropractic can improve performance, health, and quality of life. With every patient, whether animal or human, she gives her best and provides honest care. Hazel enjoys challenges and likes to keep herself busy – when she’s not treating patients she’s out horse riding, running, or hiking with her dog.

I am registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), I am a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) and I am a member of the Royal College of Chiropractic (RCC) Animal Faculty.
